heres the thing..we have been talking about the 2004 hump for eb2 for a while now. if you download the perm data from 2005 you will see only 7000+ PERM approvals for India. this included a significant number of EB3 other worker categories like pipe welder, cook, etc ( i am assuming they were eb3 -other worker...correct me if i m wrong)
this was the breakdown per month for perm 2005
March-1
April -13
May-72
June-324
July-351
Aug-833
Sept-1172
Oct-1212
Nov-1541
Dec-1771
7290 - includes everybody - eb2, eb3, eb3 other workers

They are working overtime for it, hopefully 24 hours as well. This is my fear even before this announcement that visa numbers be wasted again.
Maybe we can volunteer to adjudicate each of our own case...lol!

I don't understand why you are picking up on facts and faults on other post.What mirage is saying is true.I know 3 families stuck up in this GC process...all true cases.
There are some lucky people who have bought old labor substitution ;)who came to US in 2004 and got their GC's cleared and are very :D.
Some really who have come here to study...living in US for past 10 years genuine appliers are really stuck in this.They have all applied their labor and got them cleared only dec 2006.
people who are interested can send those letters if not ignore the thread.
If you are EB2 good for you...Its not that easy to change jobs having families..and when you are satisfied with the employer ,why would they change.
Everyone here want GC to stay in this country.And we all are here to find solutions thru IV - active participation is better.
Pani's letter is not that bad...if you dont like alter what you want to express and send it.People can write what they are facing only.
this is not an argument...just felt bad when you were point blankly picking on them.

But one thing I understand there are many , in general like to irritate and hurt other's sentiments and thoughts and pinpoint only faults.
Becoz of this lack of unity only ,most of us face problems.
First of all, I do support issues faced by EB-3 India applicants. However, a letter with many factual errors and words like bonded is not going to help. I am just trying to present my views.
If I were OP, I will at least show my letter for some kind of legal review before sending. After all who would like to make condition bad to worse?

something really strange is going on:
I485 EB2 filed at NSC Dec 3,2008, and on Feb,18 received RFE(!) requesting employment verification, divorce certificate, W2 and some other stuff that has been posted to them just 2 months ago.:confused:

I am not as articulate as other posters in understanding/explaining recaputre, unused visa#, loaning visa# to FP......and so on. Reading all these post,I see every one are so frustated and every one want to do some thing and let USCIS know how imp these things are...but how:confused:...IDEA!!!...."FLOWERS".... EB5 doesn't need I-140. In fact EB5 does not apply with I-485, EB5 application# is I-526. Either we are missing out some crucial information on LuckyPaji's case or he is having little fun at our expense. They haven't even completed receipting June 29 cases. This guy is just playing with us or his dates are completely wrong.
Since LuckyPaji mentioned his brother came on investors visa, I'm thinking even he applied under INVESTOR CATEGORY-EB5..
Probably he is right that he got EAD, 140 and 485 receit notices etc...:) ..
Anyway he is not sure about his category..So it could be EB5 which was NEVER retrogressed..

one of those who got labor approved fast from BEC...and slipped thru quickly....yes, I mean quickly even though it took 2.5 years
We suffered a lot as well..We applied first in 2001 and then my husband got laid off and had to start process all over again. We are on our 9th year H1 , so it was'nt all rosy for us ..
