Apple today released iOS 4.3.2, bringing several minor fixes and improvements to Apple's operating system for mobile devices. The build number is 8H7 for the majority of devices, with the CDMA iPad 2 receiving Build 8H8. A separate iOS 4.2.7 build 8E303 is also available for the CDMA iPhone 4.BGR noted (http://www.macrumors.com/2011/04/07/ios-4-3-2-due-in-next-two-weeks/) one week ago that iOS 4.3.2 was expected to debut within two weeks and reported earlier this week that the update would fix (http://www.macrumors.com/2011/04/11/ios-4-3-2-to-fix-verizon-ipad-2-connectivity-facetime-issues/) the issue with CDMA iPad 2 connectivity and FaceTime glitches.

Article Link: Apple Releases iOS 4.3.2 (iOS 4.2.7 for Verizon iPhone) (http://www.macrumors.com/2011/04/14/apple-releases-ios-4-3-2-ios-4-2-7-for-verizon-iphone/)

Two versions of the iPhone and two current versions of iOS. Wait, is this iOS becoming fragmented? ;-)

Can anyone else confirm this? How about on iPad?

Doubt it. If the 4-finger gesture is enabled in 4.3.2, apple cant wait to announce it.

How has Apple NOT innovated on the Mac line up?

    - Completely redesigned and absolutely beautiful architecture on the insides of the Mac Pro

Is there anything really innovative there? I don't think so. Yes, MacPro is an example of beautiful engineering, but there's not much innovation in there.

    - MagSafe

Apple was first to use magnetic power-plug in a computer, but the idea of using magnets is definitely not new. Such power-plugs have been used in deep fat fryers for a long time already

    - 24" all in one machine

That's not an innovation, they simply took an existing model and made it a bit bigger. Or do you think that increasing the size of a computer monitor is an "innovation" no-one could come up with? That is a similar "innovation" when Intel releases a 2GHz CPU, and a bit later they introduce a 2.2GHz model. "Whoa, a CPU that is slightly faster then the previous model! I never could have imagined this!"

    - Front Row/apple Remote/iSight in every "portable" Mac

Quite a few laptops ship with media-software and webcams. Dunno bout remotes though.

    - Two finger right clicking on trackpad

Is that what can be considered an "innovation" these days? Apple has two finger clicking for the sole reason that they do not have a second mouse-button. PC-laptops have no need for that feature, since they all have 2 or more buttons right from the start.

Why? I'd love to buy some Beats headphones. Like the style of it.
For some reason I overlooked the Phillips, I was looking for something the hooked around my ear with an iPod Control (in-ears fall out too easy). I asked around and the Powerbeats and B&O were something people recommended (my iPhone earphones were dying). The mistake was asking on a gaming forum, really, and so after selling some things, I went and blew $160.

Upon day one, the sound is nice, although I'm not an audiophile, I didn't want to purchase the Apple headphones because they DID sound bad. Upon 30 minutes into listening, it felt like someone took a razorblade to the back and inside of my ears; they were god uncomfortable. I tried giving it a few more days and seeing maybe they would stretch or so, but I couldn't enjoy the music because they were pinching my ears so much.

Even then, at least 2 days after purchase, I caught a glimpse of me asking myself "....did I really just pay $160 for a pair of headphones 'made' by a celebrity?" I use earbuds for my iPhone when listening to public where I may need to hear something or turn them down, and using the microphone even on the Apple earbuds were a great help. When I want to distant myself from the earth when by myself, I always have been a fan of Sonys Street Style MDR-G45LP (http://www.jr.com/sony/pe/SON_MDRG45LP/). I've purchased these headphones for my iPod specifically since middle school, and for $14-20, its was good enough and loud enough (I think since middle school I've been through 20+ pairs). I've stopped using them in public because everyone kept getting mad when they would call my name. Frequently, setting my stuff down and taking them off was followed by a slap in the back of the head and my friend screaming "YOU MADE ME LOOK LIKE AN IDIOT! I WAS SCREAMING YOUR NAME FROM ACROSS THE HUB (my college's version of a "cafeteria"), DID YOU NOT HEAR ME?!"

(Apparently I didn't after the second yell).

Did another search and the Phillips had the same style with the remote (dont know why I didn't see it before). So I got those + $108 back.

I was curious about the Bang & Olufsen Earbud 3's (http://www.amazon.com/Bang-Olufsen-Headset-Microphone-Compatible/dp/B0015HROMY/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top) but they're $200 and not sold in stores (or any around me) so I would have at least want to be able to return them if I didn't like it.

Anyways, thats my story, and the Phillips are great so far. I wasn't looking for anything top line, and I guess I was just putting my foot in the mainstream end of the pool, but its true: Beats are just not worth it. For me.

Apple bought OS X too. :D

I'm arguing that both were massive undertakings by both parties. My OS X example was tainted with sarcasm if you didn't catch the little  there.

Both OS X and Chrome OS (and Android, and iOS) borrow heavily from others, either through acquisitions or from the open source community. To claim Google is any inferior here is just trying to stir the pot, especially calling the poster Troll, that is just insulting and uncalled for.

Both companies deserve props from providing the software they do, neither deserves scorn that some posters here like to dish out.

So what ? OS X is Mach/XNU, Apple didn't make that. It's also a GNU/Berkeley userland, Apple didn't make that either. Again guys, drop the non-sense competition, this thread is about a release of OS X, not some type of Google bashing contest.

    Clarifications:
XNU is post 1996 merger. Mach pre merger was 2.9. Post merger is a mix of Mach 3.x with XNU and FreeBSD, plus Apple's own advances.

Everyone who worked on OS X at Apple in Core Engineering was a merging of NeXT Engineering with some Apple Engineers and future talent. Apple bought NeXT for the IP, Code Bases, Tools, Engineering Talent and Leadership.

    BSD is not GNU.

Yeah, "accidentally," sure. The price and the buttons on the app store are clearly labeled. You don't just "accidentally" purchase this. It's only believable if the kid is still an infant and randomly tap on stuff, but 11 year old? Come on. Besides, there's an option to restrict the ability to install apps on the OS.

Kudos to Apple to do the refund. If the scenario was that the kid accidentally made an international call costing $$$, I don't think AT&T would budge.

Do some research on what tall buildings do to cell towers/signal and the ability for your phone to handle constant hand-offs between thousands of towers. Trust me, sky scrapers make it impossible for Verizons, T-mobile, or any other carriers service to be much better than the rest. The other carriers are just better about hiding their shortcomings from the public.

    HORSE *****!
I HAD NOT ONE DROPPED CALL WITH VERIZON IN 5 YEARS.

No he is right. They all struggle with sky scrapers. Verizon happens to use a stronger signal than AT&T so it cuts threw building a little better but on top of that Verizon does not have to deal with towers being over loaded by iPhone users.
Most of the drop calls happen during tower hand offs and if the tower you need to be handed off to is max out well your call gets dropped.

Now if you want example of Verizon problems I was getting dropped calls all the time for months a few years ago with verizon and dump them for sprint.

As for example of building problems on another carrier sprint I could give you a this strip on campus about 50'x50' that as soon as you walked into it your call would drop. Same area multiple sprint phones multiple calls. Just a random dead zone on campus for sprint. AT&T had at least one spot on campus that was almost the exact same way. Skyscrappers make it insane for all carriers to deal with and on top of that you have tons of tower hand offs.

    AT&T=High prices (unlimited talk for $69.99 a month!).
Verizon=Can't talk and web at same time.
    T-Mobile=Do EVERYTHING FAST for a cheap price!!!:D

This will be great because I always wanted an iPhone on T-Mobile.:)

They should put 4G on the T-Mobile iPhone because 3G is just too old for a new phone.

    EDGE is just tooooooooooooooooooo slow.

Also possibly Mobile Hotspot may be included for FREE!!!:D

Plus Unlimited Data for like $10 a month!!!:D

if you buy headphones for the style, you shouldn't be buying pairs that cost three digits.

Wouldn't it be the opposite? If you buy them based on style, you'd have to spend more.
