Is EFI supported on AMD based systems? If not, then this would be a problem, as Mac OS X currently requires it.

iCal is awesome. Looks great; works great even in full screen mode.
The only issue is that in week view, the fonts are not properly anti-aliased.
I think Apple should have chosen Lucida Grande as a consistent font across the OS. iCal + Lucida Grande is much better than iCal + Helvetica which looks crap.
They need to get rid of Helvetica for Lion and other apps. PLEASE.

Be careful when buying at an Apple Store that they don't pawn off on you the previous generation model. I was told by an employee that they were the same except for the price. If your not careful they may try to sell their existing stock at the reduced price. Buy online for now. I can't see a way to tell which model is current and which is prior, except for the obvious brightness.

Apples Releases its 3Q numbers after the market close this Wednesday. There have been many times where Jobs has used blow out earnings announcements to launch new products in tandem. I wouldnt be surprised if they launched the video/wireless during their earnings call on Wed.

Google needs to get their **** together if they want to keep competing. Everyone I know that has an Android carries around an iPod too.
Microsoft has Zune, and it's WP7 phones and Apple has iTunes. Google has to rely on Amazon, and even then the Android MP3 App is by far the worst of the 3.

Untrue. The iPhone is the only phone affected this way. Apple implying a lie doesn't make it true.
Guess we believe what we wanna believe-I have yet to see one iphone personally drop bars - even trying to make it happen-mine and 9 other iphone users have all desperately tried to make this attenuation BS happen - well we honestly gave up-

Here in England thats a pretty common figure of speech that people use all the time. It doesn't mean literally ages. I forgot this was an American forum, but what does that have to do with anything anyway?
I'm from the US and I even understood what you were saying. It's just figurative language. It looks like people just want something to rant on you about.
Same here, and I understood what you meant as well. From now on, instead of the word "ages", say "I've had my iPhone for a time, times, and half a time". That should make 'em stop and think a little!:D

Indeed, not bashing MS, but they completely over promised "longhorn" and under-delivered when Vista was released.
But that's nothing new, to either Microsoft or Apple.
I can't imagine how different things would be today if "Cairo" and "Copland" had materialized with all the technologies they promised over 15 years ago.

Since then, I just wait to see what sticks, and even then, features can get deprecated in subsequent releases. I think Windows Home Server 1's Drive Extender technology was awesome, but they've pulled it from the next major release.

I don't think this is wrong if the TSA has a valid reason for suspecting that a passenger is carrying something suspicious. Also, it should be policy that if you fail the screening test, a passenger should be allowed to go through a 2nd time, but perhaps with their arms in a different position (or something). They shouldn't be allowed to pat-down someone unless there's a reason, and all other measures have been taken.

I call BS on this, Johnnie Ive wouldn't make a non rounded design like that, the lines are too harsh.
Almost looks like the unibody MacBook Pro's.. I wouldn't put it out. Look's relatively cool and looks sturdy too.

I got myslef a new 5.5gen Black 80GB for myself and a shuffle for my sister.... the discounts aren't great but aleast they're better than last year and what I saved on the iPods I used for the taxes

This is possibly the dumbest thing Apple has ever done.
I can't WAIT to go browsing though this list of stupid banner ads! I wonder if I can collect them all???!!! I LOVE pop up windows in my browser and I've always wanted to be able to view them at anytime, without having to go to annoying websites just to get each one to load. Now I can have a crap ton of banner ads right at my fingertips!!! THANKS APPLE!!!

To say the lighting is quite good, it sure is grainy! The grain also seems fake. As does the angle of the phone.
