I have all the proof that my client has paid him the money for which I worked but he continue to ignore my request.
Any piece of advice would be of great help.
You do NOT need to have proof that he was paid. If you are working for him on H1B, he needs to pay you the compensation stated on labor certifications. No ifs or buts.

Please go and talk to Hispanic Caucus about it. Maybe they will listen to your desperate call for help and suffering.
Tell them you want to buy bigger house, fancier car and get promoted to make more money. You cannot go to Europe vacations or on a Cruise without a greencard. Your wife cannot also make 100K+ money as much as you make and so your kids are starving. Tell them that you are very educated and have Ivy league degrees. Despite all your intelligence and smartness, your employer is exploiting you and not giving promotions.
Then say your problems are more important than problems of undocumented. They are anyways subhuman and you do not care if they do not have food to eat, get exploited, do not get medical care or have a roof above their house. They should all be jailed and deported like animals. USA is a rich country and can easily round up 13 million people and deport them. Suggest some ways of deportation using your smart intelligence.
I'm sure Hispanic Caucus and for that matter any Congress member will definitely listen to you without forming a negative opinion about the arrogance of the entire H1Bkind..

Yesterday I came back from Vancouver after 4 day visit, using 30 day rule. My visa was expired but I-94 was still valid. CBP officer at Vancouver airport didnt create any problem. He looked at my expired visa on my old passport , my new passport and current I-94 date on I-797. Thats it. He even wandered why my old I-94 was still attached with old passport which no1 bothered to take out while I was going out of USA. So he took out old I-94 from expired passport and put a new I-94 on new passport. Thats all. He didnt bothered to ask my job letter, work details , company name etc.

Hi,
I hope I am posting in the right space and hoping to get some input from people who have been in a similar situation.
My mother is coming from India (Hyderabad) to San francisco . The ticket was booked in India and we were hoping to get a travel companion for her and help her through gate changes, customs and related stuff. When we talked to travel agents they kept postponing until one week before departure (She leaves on 14th). Now they were able to locate one companion until London but after that they split.
Eventhough wheelchair assistance was requested from London and confirmed. I am worried that she never traveled by herself and she wouldn't be able to complete all the forms or answer all the questions or even stand in the right queue by herself at the port of entry in San francisco.
I am sure there will be other passengers from London to San francisco but I want to talk to them before she gets on the plane and not leave to chance and hope somebody helps her. With all the new privacy issues how do we get in touch with Telugu(worst case Hindi) speaking people on the plane from London to San francisco.
I would appreciate your input

I see no reason why you cant move to permanent offer.
Is it not risky to move when your RFE response is pending? I worked for just 2 employers for 9 yrs between 2000 -- 2009
then since March I have so far been with 2 employers and now 3rd PERM offer.. I am concerned if that can create issues..

Thanks to Thomachan (for highlighting why legal immigrant's children should be considered in the Dream Act) and Sanju ( for focussing on the key decision makers who can influence this). I am sure we can make atleast an attempt to get this included. :). This will help legal immigrants with children in high school and college to a large extent.

Sometimes employers have an agreement with the law firms that all primary correspondance should happen between the employee and employer representative usually HR / Immigration Compliance administrator. Employer representative will direct the employee to the law firm if they are not able to answer their questions. This is the scenario with my employer. Hope this helps.

1. In case of foreign currency payment, u can always walk to airline's kiosk in nearest airport and make a payment using any CC in USD.
2. Different travel sites have quota from airlines and they show different route/sector for different $$, so no one is best at all times!

back in our o'l days we used to say time will come that people will line up for visa to work in India. I kind of see this first article towards that end coming to reality. B'lore is the second choice for people to work outside USA. wow that is great to know.

The second is to get a work-rotation visa in the destination country, the equivalent of the L-1 program in the States. This type of visa lets companies rotate employees among their offices in various countries. The third is to use dual nationality you may hold, such as from being the spouse or child of a foreign national, to seek work in that other country. Is this something to be concerned about, getting AP before EAD , both are of course 124 days since receipt date.
How are AP and EAD related?
My son and I have never applied for AP and we have got two EAD's.
My wife on the other hand has never applied for EAD, only AP.
