Would appreciate if some one can guide me in this situation.
Filed 485 on 11th aug but as fedex packet was not traceable I had to file again on 16th of August.
Now I received the receipts for the one which was filed first time.
How do I stop the 2nd application.What will happen If I do a stop payment on the 2nd one.
Will it affect my GC processing fot the application filed first time.
What is the best option I have without getting into some issue.

What are the requirements to port from eb3 to eb2 with just an i 140 approved? I am happy with my current employer. I have worked with this company for 5 years now. I have a master's from a well known university in the US. At the time of applying for gc, attorney and company advised to file in eb3.

There is no such thing as duplicate EAD. Everytime the EAD is lost, USCIS issues a new EAD with new dates of approval and expiry i.e. they treat it as renwal. If you are not using EAD, don't bother to apply for one. It costs around $300+(i am not sure on this) and needs to be renewed every year.

Sadly fantastic as Photoshop is it's not vector based, so anything you export to Flash can end up looking weird and stretched.
Have you tried using Illustrator? It's very similar to Photoshop in the effects and tools that you have available, with the added advantage that is is vector based. So you can draw in Illustrator and then export it into a Flash movie.
The only thing I'd add to this is that sometimes it will throw up errors about .eps files (no idea why) and you have to export it as a .swf and import that into Flash. Either way though, this should solve the problem.

Just wondering how did you get info from USCIS about your FP notice?
Because, I have got the receipt and when I called USCIS for my FP appointment (Called cust serv then 1,2,2,6,2,2,1), she said My info is entered into the system and they will send anything in mail. But she did not tell me whether there is FP appointment for me or not? How you do ask for that or do I have to go to level 2 cust serv rep?

But I think it's thanks to CBN who pulled the consulate to Hyd when they were debating to have the consulate in Hyd or Bangalore. From what I know YSR govt just boomed up the realty prices but nothing else, though realty went up in other parts of the country too.
PS: I'm not very sure but just expressed my thoughts as we are talking about consulate/Hyd/how proud we should be etc in this thread.For those who know better or disagree with me please feel free to do so by posting in the thread but not by giving red/accompanying mssgs. These days I'm so cautious that unless absolutely sure I don't take any chances with posting on threads so as to avoid upsetting people even remotely. There is no solution, other than legislative change to the objectives listed by the IV team.

Yes. I consulted a famous laywer earlier this month on this issue. She mentioned to me that normally USCIS don't have any issues in porting even if your previous I-140 is revoked, but law allows them to not let you port the PD (only in the case if previous employer revokes I-140). Just to clarify though, previous employer's I-140 withdrawal does not effect your existing green card processing as long as I-140 was approved and 180 days have passed since filing of I-485.

H4 visa holder can pursue their studies in US but they cannot work while studying.
he/she should stay in H4 visa if you filed (or want to file) I-485 based on your dependent's I-485 application because F1 visa holders are not eligible for I-485 dependent benefits and changing from H4 to F1 will cancel the I-485 application if he/she already filed based on dependent application.
so better to stay in H4 if you filed or want to file I-485 based on your dependent's application until you get GC.

I have been going around forums to get an answer and it seems my case is unique in nature...can someone help me out?
Recently had family-based AOS interview with the USCIS (my wife is a naturalized citizen). One question was asked by the officer - "Did I travel outside US after filing the AOS?" and my answer "Yes - to Canada for few days - by car".
I traveled to Canada on my company�s H1B.
The officer explained that once you file you Marriage based GC the only way you can travel is on Advance Parole. Travel on H1B is possible as long as the H1 and the AOS is of the same employer. In my case the AOS was family-based and the travel was on H1B. Such a travel may be considered to be abandonment of the Family based GC process.
The officer was extremely helpful in providing us information and said he needed more time to go through my case and decide on approval/denial of my case after consulting with other officers/supervisors (I130 looks good for approval) but there is a possibility (he said) that I may have to re-file the I-485 but there is a possibility that I may be approved.
He told he is waiting on some papers which is in some other State and that will take some time (not sure what papers was he talking about)
He also said that he will also look into my employer-based GC and see if he can approve that case if possible? Well, I am not sure about that as my priority date is SEP 2004 (EB3). This he said will save me some money of not re-filing and also instead of 2yr conditional GC (marrige is less than 2yrs) I will be able to get 10 yr GC. He took a copy of my I-140 receipt.
Now, I have a full-time offer from a company and not sure what to do? What if I use my Family-based EAD - that will invalidate my employer based pending AOS - correct? And what if my Family-based I485 gets denied due to abandonment while on the EAD - is the EAD still valid or is it valid only after re-filing the I485?
Any suggestions?

My EB3 Priority date is Feb 2004. I have approved I-140 and have a copy of approval I-140
notice. I have not filed 485. This is my 10th year in H1b visa.
My H1B visa is ending in Nov 2010. Due to family situation, I am planning to go to
India for 1 year, My employer may or may not apply for my H1B renewal.
If my current employer cancels my approved I-140 & did not extend my H1b visa, Is it

Yes. Make sure you get copies of the approval notice of the I-140 before you part company (no pun intended). This will be the proof you require to port your priority date to another EB/I-140 some other time. This will be valid even if your employer revokes the I-140. The only instance this will be invalid is if the I-140 is revoked because of fraud or misrepresentation.

Friends, my EAD/AP will expire later this year along with my 8th year H-1B extension. My 140 isn't approved yet. Now, what happens if my employer wants to cut costs and says let's extend only your H-1B for now and let your EAD/AP expire? If I'm not wrong, filing for H-1B/H4 extension is cheaper than that for EAD/AP.
Specifically, these are my questions:
1. Can I extend EAD/AP on my own?
2. If I let my EAD/AP expire and continue working on H-1B, can I reinstate them (EAD and AP) at a later date in the future once my 140 is approved? In this scenario, there will be a gap between two successive EAD/APs.

Then go to Bombay Dharavi slums.
Then go to villages in India and live with poor.
Your family will understand the reality of this world and become better human beings with you. Or they will think Andhra is a country and Andhrites are the only people in this world. It is typical of some Indians who only care and mix with their own state. (Begalis, Andhra, Marathi to name a few). India is declining due to such people who do not believe in being an Indian.
