Actually, a lot of companies are moving tech support and other back-office operations to India. A lot of the Indian techs will watch Friends and other American shows so they can keep a conversation up if a caller is chatty. They even make up fictitious lives in case somebody asks about their personal life.
It's actually not that different from when a lot of back-office operations were in Ireland.

I usually go out with my camera and walk around taking pictures. Then I crop and make them into wallpapers.

mostly for single player, expect for the "party" type games (mario party, ssb), where i may put mutli player as more of a priority.

Thank you for your advice and help. However, because this particular iMac G4 didn't look so good, I am no longer interested in it. I did, though, buy an iMac G5 17" (1.8 GHz with Bluetooth Keyboard & Mouse) for $328.95. Earlier today, I tried to bid on a iMac G5 with an Intel processor that was running Snow Leopard. I lost by $5.01! :( I wanted that one so badly!

Putting an easy mode so the whole family can play? Isn't this an M-Rated game with tons of gore, horror and inappropriate content for minors and unappealing content for other family members? Heck, Nintendo might be taking the whole "family" thing (which I think is downright ridiculous) too far.

A "family" doesn't have to include little children or teens. Most families in America are dysfunctional, but many grown-up and partially grown-up families do more together than just maintaining contact. A "family" could be three grown brothers who play RE4 with their stoned widow grandmother fighting cancer who happens to love over the top horror flicks such as Peter Jackson's "Dead Alive". :P

My wife has downloaded a couple of movies via itunes but for the life of me I have burned through dvd after dvd and cant get them to work. He keeps telling me I have a data error when I pop the DVD into one of our players.
What am I doing wrong?
You can't just burn movies downloaded from iTunes to DVD and have it work in your DVD player. Watch them on your computer or stream them to an Apple TV.

WHen posting pics of your system online people need to start adding watermarks so idiots like these won't reuse them for posting Ads on CL or Ebay or where ever.
They post on CL here in Sacramento as well. Usually we use the Flagging system to get them deleted as quick as possible.. I just wish there was someway they could be filtered or refused from posting.

Tek, is there plenty of room for 2 ssd's? I want to remove the optical, put the ssd there and put a ssd in place of the hard drive or maybe use a 7200 rpm drive in place of the slow hard drive.
I know it has been done, but I have not done it myself. I have replaced the optical with a blu-ray drive, and know that there is room for a 12.5mm drive up there (so you can get a 1TB drive in there). There is a plastic tray that holds the optical drive and I would think that the screw holes would at least partially line up with the screw positions of a ssd or HD, but again, I haven't done it.

While the 3D thing might not interest you, the 3DS is much more powerful than the current DSi, meaning much better graphic capabilities. So if you ever want to play anything other than Pokemon Black in the next couple of years you should wait for the 3DS.
If you're not really interested in gaming on the DS or doing anything other than Pokemon Black go ahead and save some money buying the DSi.

Hey guys, so long story short I found out that my parent's property insurance doesn't cover my dslr gear and computing gear. Where would you recommend me go to get insurance for all my gear for myself? I'm looking around for hassle-free options now. Preferably online.

Right, I am asking for a bit of help from you guys (and gals) my parents are moving to France soon, and currently they're using my year old iBook and my brother's PC, they want their own laptop, and they keep putting off buying one, they both like my iBook, but won't get one for themselves due to the price :o I thought I'd surprise them and buy them one for Christmas, I just need a hand finding what I'd need.
I don't particularly want to buy them a new one as I have very little money myself, so I thought I'd go for a G3 iBook or something, here is essentially what they'd be using it for, and what they'd need:
Transferring & viewing photos from DigiCam (USB 2.0)
Browsing the internet & e-mail (Airport)
Word Processing
Music storage (20GB+ HD)
Watching DVDs (Combo Drive)
Something thhat could run at least OS 10.3.9
Could someone give me some idea of a particular model and how much it would go for (on here or ebay).
Any help is very much appreciated.
